The Permanent Representative of the Republic of Kenya to UN-Habitat Amb. Jean Kimani welcomed the Committee on Defence, Intelligence and Foreign Relations to the Permanent Mission for an oversight visit. The Committee comprised of Hon. Elijah Memusi, Hon J. Kandie and Hon T. Wanjiru were briefed on the progress made by the Permanent Mission in executing its mandate. The Permanent Representative also shared the challenges faced by the staff at the Mission. Key Highlights of the meeting included the outcomes of the just concluded Second Session UN-Habitat Assembly (UNHA II) and future collaborations in improving the Misson’s service delivery.
