UN-Habitat Executive Director Ms. Maimunah Mohd Shariff and Kenya’s Permanent Representative to UN-Habitat Amb. Jean Kimani met with the Governor Nairobi City County ,H.E Johnson Sakaja at City Hall. Nairobi will host the second Session of UN-Habitat Assembly. The meeting will take place from 5th - 9th June 2023 and expected to bring together more than 6,000 participants from the 193 UN-Member States, United Nations system organizations and other accredited stakeholders. Nairobi plays host to the United Nations Office in Nairobi (UNON) the only UN Headquater in the global South.
